ICE 54 "Nonna Lucia"

NONNA LUCIA was launched in December 2023 as hull nr. 3 of the successful semi-custom series of Ice 54 Yachts. 18 hulls have been built in various configurations (Ice 52, Ice 52RS, Ice 53 and Ice 54) prior to NONNA LUCIA. Her experienced owner commissioned the boat for a performance cruising adventure with his family and wanted a boat equipped at the best end of its class.

After the numerous examples of ICE 52 launched, a new “restyling” has been studied in collaboration with the shipyard that has allowed to update some elements without distorting the essence and the concept of the original project. To obtain more internal headroom, the freeboards have been increased by 7 cm and some elements, such as the aft bathroom and galley, have been slightly enlarged to facilitate interior habitability and overall ergonomics. Some valuable stylistic details have also been added, always marked to maintain the clean and essential style. From the general point of view, the genoa rail was proposed in the deckhouse, allowing an even closer upwind angle without using “internal barber” and some improvements have been studied from the point of view of deck equipment and rigging. It is important to note that the double soul of fast “racer” and comfortable and elegant “cruiser”, already highlighted by the results in many races and the market success of the ICE 52, remains unchanged.
